About Senad Hadžifejzovic
His first newspaper text was published in 1974: "Borba" from Belgrade published a text of 12-year-old Hadzifejzovic, as the best journalist work of a young author. From 1978 to 1984 he worked for: Borba (Belgrade), Omladinske novine (NON Belgrade), Radio Index 202 (Belgrade), Radio Sarajevo 202, Večernje novine (Sarajevo). In this period he published more than 800 texts, articles, stories and comments. At radio stations he was a reporter, a host and an editor.
From 1981 to 1984 he studied journalism at Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade and Sarajevo. He graduated in Sarajevo in 1984 and was the youngest graduate at the faculty.
He signed his first professional contract in 1985 for Radio Sarajevo and the same year he became the youngest editor at Radio Sarajevo. He worked as an editor of Joint Programme of radio stations of Bosnia-Herzegovina. He edited and coordinated programme of 52 local stations in BH, edited joint news show "Meeting at the wave". In 1987 he started and edited Youth Programme, the biggest media project in Yugoslavia. He worked with Boro Kontic. This programme was daily listened by 800,000 young people in Yugoslavia.
The following year he specialized in TV and documentary directing at FAMU Academy (movie academy) in Prague (Czechoslovakia). He graduated in prof. Hana Jemelikova's class. From 1988 till 1992 he edited and hosted "Pet do dvanaest" show at TV Sarajevo (with Aleksandar Pavlovic). His guests were the most prominent people in Yugoslavia. In 1990 he started, edited and hosted "HadziFace to Face", the first TV talk-show in Yugoslavia. It was broadcast live, preferring direct discussions with viewers on current topics. It was a pioneering experience for both the author and audience, that included involving viewers in programme without first checking their identity.
In 1990 he became an editor and anchor of "News", central news show of TV Sarajevo. He became the youngest news editor in Yugoslavia. At the same time he worked as a DESK manager, reporter, special reporter from the most important political events in the country (meetings of presidents of Yugoslav republics). 1993 one of the founders and first editor of the Radio Stari Grad Sarajevo. 1993-1996 corespondent for RFI (Radio France International)
From 1996 to 1998 he edited and hosted a remake of talk-show "Face to Face". In 1998 he became a director and an editor-in-chief of TV of Bosnia-Herzegovina. In public surveys conducted by Mareco Index Bosnia agency, TV of BH from 1998 to 2000 had by far the best ratings. In the same period millions in debts of TVBiH were repaid.
In 2000 management of RTV BiH decided to remove Hadžifejzović from the position of editor-in-chief and director of TVBiH with a shameful explanation that it was done on "Senad Hadzifejzovic's request". Tacitly, with no explanation, he was removed from the position of "News" editor. He was unemployed.
In 2002 he published book "Rat uživo - War: Live on Air" in Bosnian and English. The book is a compilation of all interviews the author conducted in his live shows with key players in Bosnian war (1992-1995).
In 2003 he became an editor of PBS's (Public Broadcasting Service) section of programme dealing with culture and art. In the same year, in cooperation with TV HAYAT, at the end of the year, he started a project which friends named "Centralni dnevnik sa Senadom Hadzifejzovicem". "Centralni dnevnik" became a news show with the best ratings in BiH.
